These gases are emitted mainly due to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>The presence of a chemical pollutant such as benzene or formaldehyde in the exhaust when using building materials such as paint or insulation foams.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Age of the building. Hygiene institutes and indoor air quality studies in workplaces shed light on the negative health effects of substances used in the past.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>New high-quality construction standards for insulation and sealing that aim to recycle rather than renew indoor air.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2 data-content-type=\"heading\" data-appearance=\"default\" data-element=\"main\"><span>PAB indoor air quality testing: Targeted gases<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 data-content-type=\"heading\" data-appearance=\"default\" data-element=\"main\"><span>Carbon dioxide<\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"mf-initial\" data-content-type=\"text\" data-appearance=\"default\" data-element=\"main\" data-was-processed=\"true\">\n<p><span>Carbon dioxide<\/span><span>\u00a0(CO2) occurs naturally in low concentrations in the air; It is colorless, odorless and heavier than air.
